Secret Valley Escapes is a little bit of peace and tranquillity tucked away on the edge of the Peak District.
We offer a luxury camping experience, in our custom-built safari tents (Dens). Complete with ready made beds with super comfortable mattresses, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and living /dining space.
We offer the perfect getaway for those who love the great outdoors, sleeping under canvas and enjoying a night around the fire… but are not too keen on the hassle that comes with setting up a tent and sleeping on the floor!

Tucked away in our own secret valley, we are the perfect location for campers and glampers who love to explore the great outdoors – with lots of local walking and cycle routes, on-site fishing and lots to explore in the bustling village of Holmfirth (approx. 2 miles away).
If you are looking for a break that takes you away from the stresses of everyday life, we have you covered! Leave your worries at the gate and enjoy everything our secret valley has to offer. From our lakes and ponds, our enchanting woodland, to the abundance of wildlife you will see on site– there is no need to go anywhere else!
As the day draws to a close we invite you to enjoy the last of the sunshine around your very own campfire, perfect for toasting those marshmallows and maybe getting a glimpse of the family of deer, who often like to check in on our guests!
Inside your safari tent you have everything you need for a cosy evening with friends / family. Relax in front of the fire with a hot chocolate, before retiring to your ready-made bed, complete with mattress…..no blowing up of airbeds required!
Or if you prefer to enjoy the last of the day under the stars, Fox Hole Den boasts its very own wood fired hot tub. So sit back, relax and enjoy the stillness of the night.

Here, at secret valley we want our guests to have the best possible experience and with that in mind we have vowed to keep the site small, to guarantee all guests have their own private space.
